Interprise Suite Day 2 - Accounting, Inventory & all the real integration stuff

Interprise Suite Day 2 - Accounting, Inventory & all the real integration stuff

All the real stuff of integration was show cased on Day 2, it got exciting as Gary covered every bit of accounting from chart of accounts to company wizard settings. We were able to grasp the inventory features which were overwhelming compared to other ERP/Enterprise software, some of the features which are worth talking:
  • Item description is 1024 characters (every other software has limitation on this one)
  • Item matrix supports 7 attributes (color, size, fabric, style, I can't think more)
  • Drop your products into several different categories (how cool is that?)
  • Custom Kits has required, optional and multi-select for selecting components (e-Commerce customers will love this feature)
  • Item status can be active, inactive and phase out (cool.. )
  • Easy to re-arrange components in item matrix and Kits
  • Clone items single or multiple times, basically replicate/copy items ....
On second day, we were able to install the new build and we were surfing the features as Gary and his team demonstrated the product, couple of bugs here and there bothered us reminding that we are all part of windows .Net framework family .. lol ... Ramil was Gary's best friend giving tit bits on technical front and he had bought his humor along from phillipines to share with all of us ... I really like it when he says "the buutton" :))

After lunch, we covered supplier, accounting fundamentals and in-depth features, there are numerous questions from beta customers discussing their scenarios which kind of slowed the speed and they had to cover the topics till 6pm, time for me to head to Westwood for margarita as I had to meet my clients Viking Motorcycle over the Acopuca bar and restaurant along with my ERP partner Marty ....
